A Sterling woman was arrested this weekend on charges related to a shooting death of her husband, a police officer, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says 52-year-old Cpl. Steven Spradling was found dead at about 9 p.m. Friday in the house in the 21700 block of Blossom Drive.
